IPNI China Program 2015 Annual Meeting Was Held in Beijing
On March 19th, 2016, the International Plant Nutrition Institute (IPNI) China Program 2015 annual meeting was held in Beijing. Over 60 representatives including Dr. Adrian Johnston, Vice President of IPNI, all staffs from IPNI China Program, collaborators from 17 research institutions participated in this meeting. Dr. Ping He, Director of IPNI China Program hosted the opening ceremony as Presider.
There were total 29 presentations in five sessions in this annual meeting, which focused on “Nutrient Expert for Rice”, “Nutrient Expert for Maize/Wheat/Soybean”, “Ecological intensification for Maize System”, “4R Nutrient Management”, and “CRU Research”, respectively. Through fierce discussion, all participants summarized the main results, experiences and shortages of each program, especially with the utilization of Nutrient Expert Recommendation Tool and the stewardship of 4R Nutrient Management. This meeting provided a great platform of discussion and ideas exchange to all participants coming to this meeting.
