Society meeting includes Nutrient Expert training

IPNI China co-hosted the 2018 annual meeting of the Chemical Fertilizer Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Plant Nutrition and Fertilizer in Xi’ with the theme of “Chemical Fertilizer Reduction and Sustainable Development." More than 200 delegates from different institutions including fertilizer research scientists and fertilizer industry delegates attended the meeting. Focusing on improving chemical fertilizer efficiency and sustainable development, Dr. He, as the director of the Chemical Fertilizer Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Plant Nutrition and Fertilizer, gave the keynote speech on “Nutrient Expert”. There were 29 presentations focused on fertilizer recommendations, nutrient organic substitution, nutrients synergistic mechanism and pathways, etc. Additionally, WeChat-based Nutrient Expert training was conducted. Dr. He introduced recent progress of Nutrient Expert for cereal crops, vegetables, fruit trees and cash crops.
